Ferdinandus Genealogy

Help wanted ! e-Mail me !

There are always many more questions and problems to be solved than I can possibly do myself. Several people are working on branches of the family or in a more general way in collecting data. Still, puzzles remain and questions pop up. If you feel able to commit some effort in finding out the answers to these questions I would be very grateful. You could let me know when you start researching one of the problems, to prevent your hard work whilst someone else is already close to a solution.

The unknown Ferdinandus in print page gives an additional list of questions that need solving.

The People in Limbo page gives a list of people unconnected to anybody else, so more information on them would be very welcome .

	3/5/2009 Problem 29 Cornelis Ferdinandus P1156 is currently the first person in the Culemborg Tree. Is he the same Person as P3333? I will likely need his Marriage record from the NH kerk in Culemborg to find this out.
	2/12/2003 Problem 2 Pieter Ferdinandus P565 had 4 children with Adriana Stevens. (see database) They were all born in Schoondijke in Zeeland. This was in 1774 / 1776 / 1778 and ? . These dates are approximate as they are deduced from these children's own marriage records (see Genlias page). I have no record of Pieter and Adriana's wedding ( which will have their ages and place of origin on it ) nor where this Pieter came from. Anyone ?
	21/12/2003 Problem 7 ; Catharina Ferdinandus P51 born 29 April 1837 at Antwerpen. Her Parents are Jacobus Ferdinandus P83 born about 1811 and Maria van der Borght P84 born about 1815. (Ancestral file record BW8P-89) Where does Jacobus come from ? Where was he born, Who were his parents ?
	24/1/2004 Problem 8 , Quirijn (Krijn) Ferdinandus P2075 baptised 15 March 1711 in Kapelle, marries Pieternelle Pietersdr Zanddijk P2516 on 24 March 1740 in Vlake. Their daughter Jacomina Krijnsdochter Ferdinandus P2523 is born 26 sep 1745 in Vlake. Is Krijn the father of Ferdinand Krijnszoon P2832, the earlies member of the just-uncovered Ferdinandusse tree ? Are Jacomina P2523 and Ferdinand P2832 siblings ?

The following people all belong to the Ceylon / Sri Lanka tree. 3 loose ends.
I am fairly certain they all link into it somewhere, but I do not know where.
Finding out their parents will probably be enough to fit them in.

21/12/2003 Problem 5 ; Jannetje Maria Ferdinandus P2553 married to Johan Pieter Timmerman P2553, they have a daughter Sara Adriana Timmerman P2554 born about 1885 in Kruiningen. She marries a Willem Houtzager P2555. Where does Anna P2553 come from ? Where was she born ? Who were her parents ?

21/12/2003 Problem 6 ; Maria Ferdinandus P2500 married to Willem Sterk P2501, they have a son Frederik Willem Sterk P2499 born about 1830 in Kruiningen. Where does Maria P2500 come from ? Where was she born ? Who were her parents ?

21/12/2003 Problem 4. ; Cornelis Ferdinandus P171 born 23 may 1852 in Zaandam. Surely he belongs to the Zaandam branch somewhere, but where exactly ?

2/12/2003 Problem 3 ; Haije Elgersma and Anna Ferdinandus (F323) had 3 children in Utrecht in 1887 / 1889 and 1895 (see database) (see Genlias page) where did Anna come from ? Were Haije and Anna married ? Trip to the Utrecht archives for wedding record, birth records etc, anyone ?

2/12/2003 Problem solved. There is indeed only one Pieter. Copy of "aangifte geboorte" received, now in database. This has linked 61 people into the Zaandam tree.
14/9/2003 Problem 1 ; Pieter Ferdinandus (P737 and P1777?) was born in De Rijp in 1851. Or are there two of them ? According to my database there is one born 29th of June 1851 and one born 29th of October 1851. If this was one and the same person it would explain why I have no date of the descendants of one and no information on the ancestors of the other. This can be solved by going to the archives of De Rijp. These are as far as I know currently held at Alkmaar. As there are quite a few different DTB books there, it will probably take most of a morning or afternoon, to check all of them (books) for evidence of either of them (Pieter's).
