The Great Alphabetical Register of Names and Blazons
More data on the name can be found in "Het Groot Alfabetisch Register van Namen en Blazoenen" (The Great Alphabetical Register of Names and Blazons (= coats of arms)) , At the "Joods Historisch Museum" (Jewish Historical Museum) in Amsterdam under the name Ferdinandus, nr. 7494
The Register .. was never intended for publication. Waxing as the strictly personal register of a Genealogist, it shows all the characteristics of its sources.
Nearly all data are either in their original language or in that of their archivist. Double-barrelled names are mentioned both complete and separately. Titles are mostly left out, but not for Royalty. Telegram style is common. “/” is an abbreviation due to lack of space. “>“ indicates the category under which it can be found in the source or index. “:” refers to another part of the name or sometimes to a different name. The missing letters or names have been replaced with one or more dots.
